The
position of Police Cadet is an excellent opportunity for full time
students to obtain experience in law enforcement. Police Cadets
are assigned to various divisions as support staff for assisting
incoming service calls, processing fingerprints, providing service
to citizens at the Police Department front counter and other duties
assigned.
The experience gained by becoming a Police Cadet has proven to
be helpful for candidates that are interested in a career in law
enforcement. Candidates must participate in a separate exam/recruitment
for Police Officer. This position is a part time, non-benefited
civilian position.
